Welcome to the Nurture podcast/ blog.
Let’s create the beautiful world our hearts know is possible.
Nurture Pod 47: Time after Time after Time
Welcome back to another timely episode of the Nurture Pod!
In wild times like the ones we are living through collectively, Iris and Ginger dive into the concept of time itself. Who decides how we count our hours, what they mean, what they are for and why the clock and productivity seem to run the show even when there is nothing "to produce" or immediate goal in sight.
Have we all unwittingly bought into the idea of a ticking count down that dominates our days whether we realize it or not?
Is it possible to lose time? And how does getting older figure into all this?
This episode may be the best 90 minutes you could exchange in regards to rethinking how you live with time!

Nurture Pod 46: Ancestral Frequencies
Welcome to the Hallomas/Dia Los Muertos edition of the Nurture Pod.
The veil is thin this week as we reach what many consider the final harvest of autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and the move from spring to summer in the Southern Hemisphere.
This major turning point in the seasonal wheel is an ending and beginning point- a time to honor where you have been and call for blessings and intentions on the next 6 moons ahead.
Ginger, fresh out of a week of plant medicine and sound ceremonies in Peru is preparing to head north to Guatemala this week and Iris is in full harvest of her intention to expand her world of art in many childrens classrooms, Astoria galleries and through the north Oregon coast.
This conversation has a special energetic "frequency" and after we stopped recording we kept on talking for another 30-40 minutes on it. So tune in next episode because we will no doubt revisit and expand on this theme!

Nurture Pod 44: Nested and Winging It
In this episode the Nurture Journey continues from Astoria, Oregon to the Sacred Valley of Peru. No matter where we find ourselves on Planet Earth- how do we find balance in the ever changing beauty and complexity that is life.
Iris and Ginger check in from fall to spring- north to south- from deeply nested to just winging it.
We live in a wild moment for humanity. What unfolds is anyones guess at this point.
It's not easy and certainly not comfortable to not know what is coming - but within that uncertainty could be the very magic we need to plant seeds for the beautiful world our hearts know is possible.

Nurture Pod 43: Eclipses, Equinox and Ancient nurture Culture
Welcome back to the Nurture Pod. Ginger reporting in from Cusco, Peru and Iris from Astoria OR because Nurture Culture is intentionally international for this season.
We just experienced a big ol' Eclipse season from a Full Lunar Eclipse to a Partial Solar Eclipse and New Moon.
It's a powerful time to be listening to the energy of the Earth, especially as world politics and climate become more volatile.
Ginger spent the Lunar Eclipse floating on Lake Titicaca in Peru and reports in about the shifts that took place and about the ancient pre Incan civilizations that inhabited the lake and surrounding valley.
